Mission

St. Mary’s Family Learning Centre is a progressive family-centred organization providing integrated support, learning and early identification / intervention services to advance the healthy development of families and their children (birth to six years) in Windsor-Essex County.

Services

Ontario Early Years
Programs which include parenting courses, workshops, emergent literacy and drop-in sessions for parents and caregivers with young children 0 – 6 years old.

Essex Preschool Speech and Language (Talk 2 Me)
Offers assessment and a range of intervention services for families who have concerns about their child’s speech, language or emergent literacy skills, from birth to the year they start school.

Essex-Kent Infant Hearing Program
Offers universal newborn hearing screening, high risk monitoring and additional services for families of children identified with a permanent hearing loss living in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent counties.

Essex-Kent Blind-Low Vision Program
Offers specialized family-centred services for children who are born blind or with low vision.

Volunteer / Student Placement Program
This program offers orientation, training and supervision to community volunteers and student placements.
